1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Ace Plumber Johor Bahru for plumbing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all services provided by Ace Plumber Johor Bahru, including but not limited to plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, waterproofing, and emergency call-outs across Johor Bahru.

2. Services Description

Ace Plumber Johor Bahru provides professional plumbing services including:

  • Toilet repair, installation and waterproofing
  • Pipe repair and replacement
  • Water heater repair and installation
  • Roof repair and waterproofing
  • Ceiling water leak detection and repair
  • Water tank cleaning, repair and installation
  • Water filter and water pump installation
  • Water tap replacement and low water pressure solutions
  • Drainage and sewage services
  • 24/7 emergency plumbing services

All work is performed by licensed plumbers in accordance with Malaysian plumbing standards and local regulations in Johor Bahru.

3. Pricing and Payment

Quotations

We provide quotations for plumbing work after assessment. Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

For complex projects requiring on-site inspection, a site visit fee may apply. This fee will be credited toward the final invoice if you proceed with the work.

Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR)
  • Quotations include labour costs as specified
  • Materials and replacement parts are quoted separately unless stated otherwise
  • Any additional work discovered during service will be quoted and approved by you before proceeding
  • Emergency call-out rates may apply for after-hours and weekend services

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • For larger projects, a deposit of up to 50% may be required before work begins
  • We accept cash, bank transfer (online transfer), and major e-wallets
  • Receipts and invoices are provided for all payments

4. Scheduling and Access

Appointments

Appointments are scheduled based on mutual agreement via WhatsApp or phone. We strive to arrive within the scheduled time window, but delays may occur due to traffic conditions or previous jobs requiring additional time.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing safe and clear access to the work area
  • Ensuring someone 18 years or older is present during the plumbing service
  • Informing us of any known hazards, water shut-off locations, or special conditions at the property
  • Securing pets and valuables during the service visit
  • Ensuring adequate parking access for our service vehicle

Note: If we are unable to access the property or the work area at the scheduled time, a return visit fee may apply.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

Workmanship Warranty

Ace Plumber Johor Bahru stands behind our work. All labour performed is covered by a workmanship warranty:

  • Standard repairs: 30-day workmanship warranty
  • Installations: 90-day workmanship warranty
  • Waterproofing projects: 1-year workmanship warranty

Parts and Materials

Parts and materials supplied by Ace Plumber Johor Bahru carry the manufacturer's warranty. We can assist with warranty claims for materials we supply and install.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents
  • Work performed or modified by others after our service
  • Issues caused by water pressure surges, flooding or natural disasters
  • Pre-existing conditions not addressed during our service
  • Normal wear and tear of materials over time

6. Limitation of Liability

Ace Plumber Johor Bahru's liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damage to property not directly related to our plumbing work
  • Issues arising from customer-supplied materials or equipment
  • Damage to concealed pipes or structures that could not reasonably be anticipated

We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our work. In the event of damage directly caused by our negligence, we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Important: Plumbing work may involve exposure to water damage risks. While Ace Plumber Johor Bahru takes all necessary precautions, customers should ensure their property is adequately insured.

7. Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellation

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before the scheduled appointment: No charge
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: A cancellation fee may apply
  • No-shows without prior notice: Full call-out fee may be charged

Our Cancellation

In rare cases, we may need to reschedule due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible and work to find a convenient alternative time at no additional cost.

Refunds

Refunds for deposits or prepaid services will be processed within 14 business days of an approved cancellation request via the original payment method.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Ace Plumber Johor Bahru website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Ace Plumber Johor Bahru and is protected by intellectual property laws of Malaysia.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission from Ace Plumber Johor Bahru.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts in Johor Bahru.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
